Our School is Nationally Accredited
About Our Accreditation:
The Ogburn School is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) as well as AdvancED, The Unified organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Accreditation International (Ai), The Middle School Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA CESS), The Association of Independant Schools of Florida (AISF) and The National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).
The Importance Of Accreditation:
Accreditation is designed to help educational institutions boost their ongoing performance efforts for the benefit of their students. The SACS Council on Accreditation and School Improvement accredits over 13,000 primary, middle, and secondary schools, as well as school systems located in the SACS region. In 2006 it affiliated with the pre-college division of the North Central Association to form AdvancED.
AdvancED insists on a relentless pursuit of excellence for itself and for the institutions it accredits. This ethic of excellence ensures that institutions will find rich benefits from accreditation and that parents can confidently make informed decisions about their children's education, knowing their child's school is accredited. Accreditation matters because our students deserve the highest level of educational excellence possible.
